Our mission is to provide the child with the basic foundation for learning to read and help prepare teachers for their essential job of teaching reading.
Our goals are:
- PROMOTE explicit and systematic phonics instruction for all children, especially kindergarteners and first graders.
- TEACH beginning reading skills, including phonics and phonemic awareness, to children in our community.
- EDUCATE our future educators about the science of reading.
